Aoife Dooley

Aoife Dooley is an award-winning illustrator, writer and comedian. She is the creator of the kids’ graphic novels Frankie’s World, and Finding My Voice, both published by Scholastic.

Writing for kids became a very personal journey for Aoife whilst creating books for her younger self, after being diagnosed with autism.

Her latest book, Squid Squad, explores inhabitants in a town called Nowhere, where we meet Zing (a sea bunny), and Ollie (a vampire squid – yes they exist!)
